02/27 - Thorny Thursday!

Because of my job I wash my hands all the time. And a couple of years ago I started buying hospital grade wet wipes that kill all sorts of things and wiping down all the surfaces in here on the regular. That was just to protect me from the random old flu virus!

 

Ya know I could do this to, but my pantry is full of healthy food and healthy food sucks. Gonna go loot the ABC store and a Taco Bell, stock up on the real essentials

 

I'm gonna need one of those big 100+ pallets of instant noodles and some rice a roni to survive this epidemic.

 

I want in on your tribe. I don't care how long we last, if I go down eating tacos, that's good enough for me.

 

Are you suggesting Italy isn't a first world country?

The way that I see it, the USA is the most at risk. We don't have socialized healthcare. If someone gets sick and thinks they have a virus, they can just go to the hospital in Europe and not worry about the ER bill, like citizens in the USA.

You think most Americans can walk into an ER and take a $3000+ bill if they've got symptoms of the flu? Not only that, but then the suggested 5 weeks of self quarantine that I'm reading about? Most americans live paycheck to paycheck, and have no savings.

In all honesty, I could probably punch the coronavirus right in the side of the temple and handle the situation easily. It's like a 1 percent mortality rate for people under 40 or something, and those people probably deserved it
