thank god, you are def a smart parent. i had to go over this with my ex cause she would make 2 full packages, salt the water, add the packets, then add MORE salt when eating. i had to explain she was eating about a weeks worth of salt in one sitting....

I need someone to make an Aldi checkout how-to video, that place stresses me out so much.

 

I actually read a Reddit thread about that recently. During WWII the British were under a strict rationing system, as we all know. Apparently the guy in charge of it had a delicate stomach and couldn't handle spices. So no spices for the British. And their rationing system lasted long enough to affect multiple generations.
