    I was thinking of getting one but a friend of mine told me not too......apparently his dog shit in the floor while they were gone....the roomba spread it everywhere, they had to throw it away and replace the carpet in the living room.

    That is a valid concern that you read about, and probably a legitimate one. I'm more concerned about cat puke. I try and remember to look in the likely places for cat puke before I leave in the mornings, but it's a real risk.

    I have 4 cats, there isn't a day that goes by without cleaning up some kind of puke,hairball or shit off my floor.

    We have three, and the middle child in particular seems to have a delicate tummy. We usually hear the hoick-hoick-hoick sound and are able to clean it up before Fred (our Roomba) makes his rounds the next morning.

    Interesting, our middle child (the puke-prone one) is also long haired.

    We definitely appreciate having the Roomba around; it's made a big difference in the downstairs cat fuzz and other dust. We really want to get one for upstairs, but they are expensive, especially if you get the self-emptying one.

    Also, self-emptying is a game changer.

    Well, to be fair at launch I usually only run one laptop + desktop while we are grinding since my two friends both two box (6 people is the max group size).

    Once I hit max level on those 2 that's when I start the power leveling with my own box group. Not sure I'm going to do it this round since I haven't fully decided...but probably.
