Thank you! Just got home and this is exactly what I was looking to find.

 

Apparently it was in fact the HDD. I had taken the old one out and run some diagnostics on it but no issues came up. I wiped it and redid it but I still got errors on the Xbox. Yesterday I figured I would just try a spare HDD I had laying around before completely giving up, and of course it works now.

Yep. It is ok. My wife is happy because now she has a dedicated Ark machine lol.

 

Who the hell started this crap with having more questions AFTER the demographics? I don't remember running into this format last year. And it's almost always some requester who is at the "fair" marker by the demographics. They got me a few times but I've been returning them recently. Such a time waste!
