I feel like they should revoke it from anyone that doesn't qualify for a 1099.

 

i honestly doubt i knew what a qual was. at the time, i just clicked any survey or batch and did it passively on the weekend or at my office job. i'd open mturk related emails and be like "sure, whatever that means... delete"

it wasn't until i needed this as real income in 2015 that i realized i had this elusive masters thing and thought it was neat. most underwhelming masters story ever. i genuinely think it's either random or demographic related.

 

and also anyone who's gotten >750 rejects in the past year. That should cover it.

 

nope, i remember hearing that too. a few stories about people that were banned getting masters, a few that hadnt turked in months/years getting masters, the one or 2 that had for the most part just signed up that got masters.
who was it off MTG that had just hit a batch mass reject of like 1000, i remember that had got it too and everyone was all pissed off
