Long term capital needs for the Solda family homestead:

1. 30-40 HP tractor, with backhoe and front loader
2. Chicken coop: 30 bird capacity
3. Rabbit Hutches for Angora buns for fur and/or meat
4. Repairs to the waterline so the water beside the barn works
5. Install graywater system for drainage - includes having to dig up current pipes becasue they run under the drive way and have been flattened.
6. destroy scrub trees that have taken over in some parts
7. Remove old house that is falling down.
8. Repair barn.
9. Build raised beds for squarefoot gardening
10. Add rain barrels to gutters for watering crops.
11. Remove current apple trees because broken and destroyed
12. Remove black locus form the property with great vengence and furious anger.
13. Possibly invest in 1 Doe goat for milk purposes.

The family homestead has good bones, but I got some work to do to make it useable. 2020 is the year of capital hording and improvements. 2021 will hopefully be the year of adding

And at 97c an hour, I should be able to afford everything... never.
