Jax's kneecap keeps spontaneously dislocating The vet scheduled an x-ray to figure out why (apparently it's pretty common in toy breeds, but rare in bigger dogs so he's probably torn something), but he's going to have to have surgery followed by up to 8 weeks (!) of being confined to a crate and carried out to use the bathroom. In the meantime, I have to pop his kneecap back into place several times a day, which is a super weird and gross feeling - but doesn't hurt him at least.
