    the mortality rate is 10x that of the yearly flu - not cause for panic, but it's good to take some reasonable precautions. the reason more drastic measures are being taken now is to "flatten the curve" so healthcare systems don't get overwhelmed.

    This is what I'm most concerned about. We live with my mother and she is in her 70s. So I'm worried about her health. We're doing all the shopping and everything so she doesn't have to go out and be around a lot of people.
