Pros:
If we're being honest? None. I liked that they didn't automatically kick you out of the survey for failing some of the comprehension stuff.

Cons:
"Write an essay for five minutes." And also, they gave you the completion code in three parts -- and do NOT give you the entire thing at the end, so you're expected to keep track of those. I didn't care for that at all.

It's not that it locks your PC, it's that it goes full screen and if you're a single monitor pleb, that can be pretty annoying. Also, they tend to be underpaid and a lot of people are understandably leery of installing software on their PC that they're unfamiliar with.

 

some people can't download stuff to their computer Chromebook or work pc, tablet whatever and getting part way through a survey to find out you can't complete it because it requires a download is frustrating

 

Yea if you have multiple screens Inquisit isn't a big deal but with 1 screen it is a pain in the ass.
