I sure hope you aren't talking about the Spike TV mini series because wtf was that.

 

I haven't watched the new movie, but reading that book made me understand why the first movie was so absolutely lacking. It's something that just cannot be portrayed in film without going "wtf?" Actually, it was kinda that way in the book too.

 

I liked how the book kinda left you up to decide what would happen. The movie made a choice... the choice was devastating as hell in the end too.
