He openly says that they are willing to work with people? I don't see the issue here. Anyone that was having issues will likely be taking care of? He specifically says good communication is the key! Yes he could have spoken a little better but he is fine.

I think it's more the tone and the way he says things. I'm a renter at the moment and the company I rent from sent out a letter saying no late fees or evictions during April if you have an issue contact us. I felt like at least seemed to be offering an olive branch as opposed to acting like somehow they are the victim as the company here.

 

I get that his tone could have been better. Either way though man up and own your shit. If you need help or have issues call! Never ever ever ignore. This dude is right. A shit ton of people are going to try to take advantage of what's going on and that's sad.

 

I would think all companies are saying to contact them if there is an issue, mine did but not a fan of how they handled that, could have been an email simply saying hey we aren't going to evict you contact us if you experience a problem.
