You can always try emailing the requesters to see if they'd open their future HITs to Canada. That's what I do. Around 20% reply, and it's usually 50:50 if they can or can't (sometimes, they're specifically researching how Americans think, act, etc).

 

The only thing my dogs sniff out is food.
