03/29 - Squeezing Sunday!

Oh man that is a mile stone. My daughter is five and still wants me to stand in the bathroom while she uses it.

 

I haven't hit my goals since being inside, but I have to do preschool with my kid. I also don't stay up at night after she goes down, I sleep when she sleeps 100% for my mental health. So I turk when I get the chance to sit down.

 

Was chatting with the teen the other day about things I miss from when he was little. Then I quipped, "But I do not miss having to wipe your ass."

He was all, "Thanks mom. Did you have to say that? yes, I know you wiped my butt until I was like six because I couldn't do a good enough job and kept getting rashes."

I was a jerk. "Eh, that's okay. You sucked on my boob until you were 30 months old, too."

he left. Told me being locked in with me is not nice.

 

this second one was much easier than the 1st. I still don't have the 41, 7, or 4 year old trained to not pee on the floor......sigh...

 

Yeah, having a teen makes it much easier to turk. He pretty much just wants to play video games or watch Marvel movies, lol. And while he does have a school agenda he has to do he can do most of it on his own.

The school didn't send them home with any work so all the work he does is from me, I'm basically "teaching" it, but most if it is this type: "Write me a research paper on Mary Surratt and answer the following questions: was her trial constitutional? Would the Founding Fathers have approved of her trial? ...etc" or "Here's an intro to psych textbook. Read the first chapter and answer the questions at the end." Then I review the answers, or the papers he writes, and have discussions with him. I have to do some research but 80% of the work is all him.

I generally love these kinds of HITs, but these weren't fun at all and there is a history of rejections.
