So my first ever grocery delivery today was mostly a success. She didn't realize the Claussen sliced pickles are in a different section than the halves, so substituted. And unsalted chips instead of salted. And a few other substitutions which were fine but not convinced they were necessary. Oh, and the Shipt upcharge on a handful of items like deli meat.

But didn't get the 'Rona, so I'm counting this as a major success.

(But I did wake at 4a last night and couldn't stop coughing for a solid hour. Thought for sure I was done for. But woke up this morning like nothing was ever wrong, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

 

I can't imagine how anyone can really learn silly English unless they were consistently exposed to it
since the time they were still in the womb.

Imagine for a second if you will if there was an entire community of people who you dont know, you have never once interacted with but they all know you. They know what you do. They talk about you and make jokes that you are technically included in.
