I am appropriately ashamed at myself.

 

It's such a mind$@#%. I don't remember ever having a one hour coughing fit that intense in the middle of the night before. But if it had been at any time before 12/2019, I probably wouldn't have remembered it after a couple of days. So it's possible that this isn't the first time ever. And a month ago, I had a headache nearly every day for two weeks. I almost never get headaches. And sometime in the last couple of months, I've had odd chest pains that I don't remember ever having before.

But I almost certainly haven't had Corona off and on for six weeks.That just isn't how it works. So the most likely explanation is that it's psychosomatic. But I've never been prone to that kind of thing before.

TL;DR - I'm okay.

 

It will be like the days of mail-order when I was a kid when things said "please allow 4-6 weeks for shipping" and they weren't exaggerating.

 

not to be all but i've read that that is exactly how it works in some cases. up and down, back and forth for anywhere from days to weeks, to upwards of two months.

not that i'm freaking out or anything because i've had a sore throat and breathing issues for 4 weeks now nope i'm fine, definitely not overthinking that one.

I had a sore throat for two weeks, headache and a fever that would randomly spike then drop back down to above normal but not a real fever.

Really hoping it's not the virus cuz I've been around people! I have to deliver stuff to folks and am trying to keep myself healthy.

 

I've had the chest pains too. Was attributing the right side ones to a rib injury from not too long ago.
But a few times recently the left side hurts too. This was worrisome, but the condition didn't last for long.
I think your theory is probably a good one, and we have nothing to worry about.
Nothing has ever happened 'before' until it does!
