04/04 - Sunshine Saturday

Gotta admit, Target is probably the worst about delivering parts of your order in like 5 different packages spread out over an entire week. Please let me choose to delay so that it can all be shipped in one package, that unicorn pudding isn't that important.

 

It's a recurring thought of mine that I feel bad for people my age (and older) who have to rely on manual labor for a living. I sometimes struggle to get out of bed in the morning and I sit at a desk and drive a mouse and keyboard or have conference calls most of the time.

 

Didn't someone say earlier that Target was particularly good in at least some aspect?
Also I'm having a Boomer blackout as far as knowing what "unicorn" means.

 

What happened to that guy's butt? It's like it fell off.

 

It's pudding made of ground up unicorns. They're really just GMO horses.

 

Before all of this they usually would deliver all of my order earlier than they'd quoted, which could be annoying when it was scheduled to show up at my office on Tuesday and suddenly I'm alerted on Saturday they couldn't get in (no shit, it's closed!)

Amazon constantly splits my orders. Drives me nuts. And I choose longer ship times to get the free digital credits but they never group them. Except this oder that just showed up yesterday, they grouped three orders into one box so I guess this crisis is making them get better about how they ship!

Amazon is usually pretty good with their "deliver in as few shipments as possible" option, though lately they've been all over the place, that's pretty reasonable. Target's always been my bane in terms of the number of boxes I get with one item in them.

Mine is always the opposite! And I don't know why. Maybe because I have like four Amazon shipment centers around me and I must order stuff that's stocked only one thing in each?

When my shipment showed up yesterday I was so excited. I profusely thanked the delivery man who was walking away (no contact delivery) telling him he just made my entire week. He said he's feeling like Santa Claus lately because people are so incredibly excited to see him and get the packages he's leaving.

 

In this case it means the horse with a horn.

In other cases it can mean something that's so unique that it's clearly fictional or very nearly so.
