Not really? The (very old) PlayStation is set up in the room we are using as a classroom/office so we can see what’s happening there. The Wii U stuff is upstairs in plain sight. My teen has a switch but it’s in her room and she doesn’t go back in there until she finishes her work. There’s always an adult in the office/classroom at the same time because kids shouldn’t be at the computers unsupervised. At least not my kids lol.

Oh, man. I never thought of this. I totally would. As long as I could capture the sound of "thunk" as it falls in the sink.
