    Apparently in a lot of school districts they've hit a point where they're lucky if half the kids aren't treating this as a vacation because well they aren't going back this year.

    I'm still waiting to hear if Ohio schools are opening this year. The governor wants to start opening things on May 1st.

    Let me put it this way...my wife works for a state college in NY and they're planning for what needs to happen in the fall when they can't do in person instruction.

    May 1st is....optimistic.

    opening some businesses and opening schools are 2 different things besides the many problems with having large numbers of kids (especially young ones) together and maintaining increased hygiene, Many parents would probably refuse to send their kids for fear they would get sick which would create a whole other set of problems
