    My chickies are learning to roooooooooooooost! The ducks keep tattling on them for 'jumping out' of the crate. I don't know what to do about the ducks making a fucking mess of the crate though. Giving the ducks any water turns the crate into a swimming pool. They just slosh all the water out and it upsets the chickens greatly.

    When they get bigger they won't care too much once they are in a coop. When we had ducks we put a kiddy pool in the corner of the run (away from the chickens) so everyone had space to do whatever.

    One of the local stores starts selling bawls again and for the first time in a while I know happiness. I bought like 20 of them and I'm probably going to die from drinking them all but that is a risk I'm willing to take.

    That's our plan but right now while they are in the same crate the chickens are getting pissed at the ducks for the mushy floor! We clean the crate twice a day and that's not even really keeping up with it. The ducks get bath time every other day in our tub so they can preen and swim and dive but that's not sating the ducks want for water any more.
    I have a blue bottle tree that's just bawls bottles.
