Glitchy how? I haven't tried to get it yet, but I could use the $. Would put me at double my goal for the day and let me take the day off tomorrow to finish the chicken coop.

 

loading issues on the videos, issues where i click and its not registering, im 1/2 done but fuck it, money is money, its worth the attempt imo. just glitchy as hell

 

Thanks. If I catch it, that helps a LOT. I'm running off a 4g AT&T homebase hotspot pulling 2 bars. Meanwhile, my phone is 5g with 3 bars and like 100x the speed. I'd never get it done with regular wifi. Time to set up the hotspot on my phone and link my laptop to it so I can sit outside where I get a signal if I catch it. Knock on wood.

 

yeah im on comcast 250mb net and the videos are wonky. its the survey, not the connection or anything. it seems to be the platform (gorilla? wtf?) more than anything

 

I live in the middle of nowhere mining country. The amount of RF interference is stupid. Streaming videos are usually mediocre if they're embedded Youtube but Vimeo sucks. On bad weather days, if the HIT uses youtube I save it to my watch later queue and watch using the app. Had a $15 one that used Vimeo and I copied the link, emailed it to myself, and watched on my phone.

I should raise carrier pigeons to carry USB sticks to a friend an hour away. It would probably be faster than my internet speed.

i didnt start it yet, was going to either start tomorrow or wed morning. but thanks for the heads up, how long did/has it taken so far?

 

I've been chipping away at it since last night, it's 250 images with six sliders each spread out on 20 different survey links and 20 different codes, many of the images are repeats. I would say that the 1 person on TV who said 5 hours is accurate.
