    Update on stimulus checks: About 54% of people who are eligible have not received them yet. However, regardless of whether the portal gives you an error message you should still receive a check on this time frame:

    If you make less than $20k a year your check will be mailed by May 1st, if you make $20k to $30k a year it will be mailed by May 8th, if you make $30k to $40k it will be mailed by May 15th.

    (People are already receiving the checks as well so it may come even earlier:)
