Lordy 20s? We're going to push 100 tomorrow. Very warm, I'm actually worried about my cherries! And just now realizing I need to get out there and hand water the garden (we garden year round here...but it's REALLY coming in now as they do better when it doesn't get to the 30s at night.

I'm glad you finally spoke to your boss about your discomfort. It's not okay to feel unsafe.

We had our new employee for two whole weeks before this happened and we've only had her come in with us on two days when we had to get clients' monies out but we were all careful, and then she goes into the office on her own to file whenever. We've kept her on full payroll. Looks like we qualified for the SBA loan that lets you keep employees on payroll while they're not working so that will help tremendously as we have lost the money from all the bookings for the event space we manage. We'll come out of this okay, for sure, but it's nice to know we won't be struggling and don't have to make a decision about what to do regarding a brand new employee if this drug on for too long!!!
And yikes, your numbers (your next post) are going up, too! Percentage wise it's crazy. California is taking baby steps to ease restrictions and we will soon, too, but very carefully but we will jump back into our turtle shells if the numbers start flying up with eased restrictions. I want to serve my clients but I would like to not be sick more.
