12/13 - Techie Tuesday!

It's not really about creating a lie per se, but avoiding the reputation of being complacent or not wanting to climb the ladder.

Without getting into needless details that you probably don't care about, basically I work in middle management in a position that requires very little work other than making some decisions and ensuring other people are doing their jobs. I work in sales so there are definite objective measures of success as far as the boss is concerned. It's basically my team has done well and I get the credit for their work.

I don't think they have cell reception out where @Hummingbirdee lives. I could get lost and never be heard from again

I was kind of "hoping" when I finally got Masters. I had asked about a Master's hit in TO and one of the mods there told me to just keep working the way I was an maybe some day. A few months later I had it! I don't even know what I did or didn't do "right" so to speak. Totally shocked but very glad to not have to deal with captchas!! That is the ONLY benefit that I can truly see with Masters ...

 

Besides all that work that is Masters only right?

 

Like the $80-100/hr masters batch last week?

 

Hey! We totally have cell reception! And shooting targets! Just don't wander into the barn alone...

 

There is at least 2-3 $50+/hr batches I see for masters each week.

 

And then they go unqualled, save 40% on fees, but lower the pay by 200%.

 

Yeah ...

 

just because the work is "Masters" does NOT mean I automajically get to do them and/or want to do them and/or are physically able to do them. All my turkin' is done using accessibility software and that does not always "play nice" with what is available when/if I am awake and sitting at the console.
