Honestly, this should've been expected. People think having restrictions eased = the virus has gone away and they don't need to take precautions.

 

Most the intensity is a bit south of me. Tornado warnings in the area in between me and you. Just an hour or so of heavy rain around 4 oclock and then again happening right now here.

Just as the water levels were starting to crest and go down from Sunday's shittery- more rain.

Should be fine though.

Thought I just heard the tornado siren, but it's the weirdo kitty corner from my house standing on his roof in pouring rain leaf blowing his gutters. Never met the guy but I kind of want to now.

 

Oh I know. I don't think we should be letting up on restrictions at all yet. The lack of people wearing masks as well now is saddening. They thinks it's over. Papa government said I could go back to work now, everything is safe!

I haven't left my house in 2 weeks. I've spent some time outside in the yard, but I haven't set foot around another person.

 

I ordered dinner out from a small local place last night, who advertise that they will put the food in your passenger side window if you don't have anyone else in the car with you to maintain extra distance. They're being super cautious and strict and it made me feel great, because things have been pretty tough in my brain.

Then a middle aged dude pulled up, got out of his car, walked towards the lady delivering to cars and asked to place an order. She said to stay in his car, so he sat in his drivers seat but kept legs hanging out the door. When she went inside to put his order in, he stood next to the front door and waited. She asked him so politely to return to his car and wait with the door closed. He leaned against his car and took his mask off and waited. When she handed him his food (begrudgingly, but clearly just wanting him to leave), he covered his nose with his hand.

So, yeah, A++. Definitely safe to go outside.

 

I for one am way, WAY more concerned if death totals start going down.

 

It actually is going down in some areas, but I guess if you don't test you also will have decreasing numbers.

I'm not sure what @Squatcobbler said, but I'm laughing about your second gif!
In the construction trade these are known as "scissor lifts".
Depending upon one's 'constitution', they're not always pleasant.
Some people have no problems whatsoever.
Others will say they have no problem, but as soon as some smart-aleck says "so it
won't bother you if I start rocking it back and forth like this?" they get physically ill.
I was 'middle of the road'. Didn't enjoy these, but could power my way through it.
The funny thing I remember was spending most of a day on one of these things, and
six hours later when I was back home, I decided to go outside and have a beer.
Before I even took a sip, I realized I was swaying back and forth, just because that's
what my body was used to doing. I don't think any of the neighbors saw me and misinterpreted!
