    I get that too. Husband (then boyfriend) and I sold all of our stuff and moved into our van and traveled around the US three times. It was day-to-day hard living.

    When we moved to Maine we lived off the grid with 6 solar panels and hand carried our water and had a composting toilet.

    It was simple. But it was also day-to-day hard. We did that for seven years. We had to keep up enough fire-wood, grow enough food in a cold climate, etc, etc.

    I'm glad you got into Turking and I understand the adjustment. I went from living in the city and working in Detroit to living in a van, taking solar showers and now live in a semi-rural area - but, seriously, having hiked a chunk of the Appalachian Trail - not carrying 60 lbs on your back is good.

    I get the want for simplicity but I don't think there is anything "soft" about having a tumor removed from your eye. It's hard to live off the grid (and sometimes amazing) but - not carrying 60lbs every day is also super- okay. And I can tell you that having carried 60 lbs (and more hauling water, etc). It's really really okay to set it down and be warm and comfortable sometimes and take care of your eye.

    I'm guessing this is what is wrong with it. Blower seems okay. It puts out air just not enough to cool it down.
