My reasoning was that they probably wouldn't reject the hit if they really wanted me to finish their tasks. If I had left it in my queue it probably would have gotten submitted or returned by accident at some point. Two weeks is just too long to hang on to a hit. Yes, the tasks were to be completed on a fake banking site.
