After experiencing a swarm of grasshoppers, they are NOT a bug I enjoy anymore. I could seriously have lived without grasshoppers in my hair and bouncing off me. NOPE!

I have NEVER seen anything like it. At first, they were leaping across the trail and I was like, "Oh wow, that's neat, I've never seen this many grasshoppers at once!" And then, all hell broke loose. I'm sure, one day, I'll forget the sensations of grasshopper legs on my face and be jazzed I saw a grasshopper swarm, but it's not that day yet

Still no idea what that other thing was, but I looked down and it was on me like, "HELLOOOOOO!"
