Just did that qualer and it said I made it

 

I remember having $300 days after I was banned from MTF and creating multiple accounts just to throw screenshots in their face of my massive earnings just to piss them off because I'm petty like that... Ah those were the days! Hehehe...

 

So much of it is about mindset too.

You know what quals do? They f**k you up. They make you fat. They make you comfortable. They put you in a catonic state. They make you weak.

You do some qual hits for a requester and he hooks you up with that "WorkerBoi - 100". You start doing batches, racking in the money. The dimes fall like hail in Texas, smashing holes into your wallet. Six hours later, your fingers hurt, your mind is a muddle, you're out of breath, but you'll be damned if that PE isn't the highest you've ever seen. Then the next day, they don't post. That's okay. You can do surveys! So you do surveys. It's not as satisfying. University requesters can't offer you the pay rate of your closed qual. But they're not bad, you tell yourself. It's something to do, and the money's nice to have.

The day after, the qual hits drop again. You click on accept, and as you type in the data the requester wants, you think, "Wow, this qual is amazing!" Then the cycle begins. Every other day, sans weekends, the qual hits drop. Monday, Wednesday, Friday. It's a schedule. It's a rhythm. You find yourself waking up earlier to hit up those hits, and you hammer them until they're gone. You're exhausted, but you're filled with satisfaction. "I can make so much every other day!"

But that's how they get you.

You start doing surveys less. You keep telling yourself, "I got those juicy closed qual hits waiting for me tomorrow, I don't need to dirty my brain cells with the riff-raff of the plebs." You start to ignore the 25 cent surveys. More qual hits. You start ignoring the 50 centers. More qual hits. Now you only pick up 1 dollar and up surveys. You're too good for anything less. Yellow TO on Hitfinder? Forget it. You don't do those. Where's the greens at? More qual hits drop. You start letting surveys expire. No biggie, you've got qual hits. There'll always be qual hits for you.

More qual hits hit the floor. You scoop them up into your queue, into your payments, into your bank account. Your wallet swells. Your sweat tastes greasy. You start ignoring some batches. You get complacent. Customer Interests? Forget it, too much work. C-SATs? No thanks, hourly too low. Pinterests? They lock me out anyways, what's the point?

Quals drop again. You lick your lips in anticipation as your pupils engorge themselves on the sight of the batch. Accept. Submit. Accept. Submit. You swear you can hear the dimes falling onto the table. Your coffee tastes like salty coins.

Then one day, the schedule breaks. Where's your requester? Where's the qual hits? Sweat races down your forehead, a child's boxcar on a downhill slope. You assure yourself that he'll be back. He won't abandon you. He needs you as much as you need him. You relax. It's like a day off. You take a break. You jerk off to anime with your brother. Tomorrow, he'll be there for you, holding a silver tray lined with dimes.

But tomorrow comes and it's a ghost town. It's alright, he'll come the day after. He must be taking a break too. You scoff at the surveys linked on the forums, you turn your nose up against the penny batches. You don't need this crap, you need those qual hits. You'll hold out for them. You'll save yourself until then.

But they never show up again.

Quals man.

Not even once.

I felt bad about this one girl that came to the forum, and said all she needed was $1 a day, there are those that only work to get $3-10 a day and are happy, they just want a little extra spending money and nothin else, hell when I first found mturk, I said if I could just make $3 a day that would be good enough... times changed lol

 

Yeah this forum is a lot more wholesome...

Yeah I found that in the FB group way too much...like they just do it for "fun"...... I just can't

 

Right when I started I was hoping to make 20 a day but that was just too easy so I have it up to 33.333 now with a 225 weekly.
Like today was a mediocre somewhat afk day where i didnt do any batches or even pick up much stuff and I easily hit 20

 

I just wish OCMP75 would go back to good ol days of when you could make $200-300 plus weekly bonuses, DAMN them for going cheapass...

 

sigh....I ignored those thinking "sounds like BS" then when I figured out it was real gold it was too late

There are a few of us mtf old timers, but when the site finally shit the bed for over a week, we started a discord channel and have been there ever since. Flora is in it but she'd rather stay there in mtf watching the tumbleweeds go by.
