The global communist dystopia is such a low probability event that preparing for it makes almost no sense. In the event of national or regional collapse, more money still affords you the opportunity to escape, even if other preparation would be essentially useless or even counter-productive when the proletariat come along to put the bourgeois against the wall.

We're so much more likely to slide into a neofascistic cyberpunk corporate dystopia combined with a rinky-dink panopticon police state, unless you're one of the fortunate few to escape with Elon to live in his Martian libertarian dictatorship where you can slave away in the underground areca palm and bamboo fields to earn enough chits to refill your air tag for the month.

In any case, more money = more better.

Umm...so why would something that shows up on Hit Forker (which IS adjusted to "I'm qualified to work on") turn purple in PC? Like, ALL of them in Panda Crazy just did, one by one, as the search got to them.

 

You're blocked. Or PC is breaking again. Either or.

 

If the requester assigns a block to your account the HITs will display as qualified on MTurk's interface, but you wont be able to accept them and they'll turn purple in PC.

So.. if on their profile on mturk you can see the hits, and all the quals have a checkmark, you got account blocked by the requester.

 

Can you try and accept a random HIT through MTurk itself just to see if that works fine?

 

Nvm, thought he meant all his HITs from different requesters turned purple.
