I had some street tacos once that used a piece of lettuce for the shell. a nice leaf of iceberg, wrapped like twice over, with the meat and cheese inside. they didn't have any tomatoes, so there was only room for improvement

edit: for anyone wondering what I mean by street taco, I'm basically talking about like food trucks and food stands that you sometimes see in busy cities

 

ok that sounds awesome, i might have to try that, i cant see why ive never done that for tacos since ive done that a lot for hamburgers

 

it's a pretty simple idea, and the lettuce leaf holds in the sauce and everything. it's really easy to eat while you walk.

 

we use romaine but my wife and I do this occasionally, it works

 

In-n-Out has lettuce wrapped burgers and they are amazing!

 

I haven’t completed the thought yet but my three year old got something on a future menu of mine. He came up to me with a toy banana and said,” I got you this, it’s a spicy banana with sauce!”

yes, could work for sure.

 

see i had those like...seasoned ones from Sams club in my head as a placeholder. but it does sound good, in theory since you are getting a spicy with the chipolte, savory with the chicken and a cool with im guessing tomato slices/onion slices/red or green lettuce leaves...ugh, food talk makes me hungry XD

 

It was the truck that went from the hangar to the boat dock, so it has mostly just shuffled people around and pulled a boat across the street for the last handful of years.

 

but you can fry corn tortillas yourself to make crunchy shells >.>
