Ohhh, guys, I have my new big food project. A tiny gluten free, dairy free (and special diet for the other current friend's health stuff) wedding feast for two! And you can bet I'm going to be as excessive as possible. Two of my friends are getting married (by webcam, cause that's a thing right now!) when one of them gets out of the hospital, and I've seized control of the vittles, because nobody should cook their own wedding food, even if it's just the two of them this time around. They didn't really stuggle with accepting, but I wasn't going to take no for an answer anyway


So far I'm tooling around with goat cheese & pumpkin frittatas, potato pancakes with a tomato confit, red wine braised short ribs over polenta, and I'm thinking a gluten free crab cake? Oh, and obvs a gluten free honey vanilla sponge cake with a faux butter-cream and a dairy free raspberry mousse filling. I have my engineering fairies working on the cake topper I saw in a fever dream.

I'd love some ideas from the forum gallery, tho. They must be excessive to the point of of obnoxious, please!

 

All of that is foreign to me.
