I actually prefer songs in a different language or vocals I can't understand because it gives me more of an opportunity to get lost in the emotions of the songs. A lot of the time lyrics I can understand ruin the song for me.

 

Yeah, it would be such an outrageous concept that people might actually listen to some artists for the music and don't always pay attention to the lyrics. Say, for example, a musician, like me, actually just appreciating some music without really listening to what they're saying or giving an actual fuck about their opinion or agenda. That would be absolutely ludicrous.

I listen to lyrics, too. My oldest son is a musician who writes his own music and words so I listen to and appreciate both.
