I don't think I am qualified.

 

My boyfriend has used mturk a few times now for his college (...in fact, one of his recently popped up) and he is utterly flabbergasted by all the bots, people who waste his time by not reading a sentence, etc. He's considering using other platforms.

There's several best pratices that can be used to filter those people out such as: Blocking morons, sing the US only qual, using the completed hits >10k qual (even though 10k is a pathetically small number, that's as high as it goes by default), using approval >= 99 and all that.

 

Have ACs that kick people tf out if they fail.

 

Keep in mind bots (although not real people) could be comparable to garbage workers in the real world. There are plenty of those. Just gotta weed through em.
