    Nah. Go get a bunch of firecrackers, drill out a 2" core lengthwise into the log at least 6" deep. Bust open a bunch of firecrackers and gently tamp the black powder until it's tight. Glue a wooden dowel into the hole (keeping the black powder tamped down and under pressure), cut flush with the end of the log and stain the end so it's not noticeable. Replace log on wood pile. Wait for the boom.

    I think the worst part of all this self isolation stuff is knowing the odds of secretly spotting you in public are basically zero now. Every time I entered downtown avl I used to think of all the creepy comments I could tag you with :emoji_smiling_imp:
