@ChrisTurk Short version is you have to remove any review created by a person, but not a review of a person.

 

Why would I even need to remove the review? There is no personal data associated with a review

I would never in a million years even be able to confirm the reviewer is an actual human in the real world.. so you could ask me to take down Badger's reviews and I'd have no way of knowing either way who is who.

It's covered under the right to be forgotten. There's precedent with TrustPilot, but basically you need to request removal of whatever you submitted through the account you submitted it from. Basically I could ask you to remove all of my TV reviews as long as I was doing it from my account.

Also, why do you even care? You're not even covered under the GDPR?

 

I request to have all my embarrassing posts that got WOWs removed from this platform.

I try to comply with reasonable requests either direction.. When a req is like "yo man my TV profile is messing up my sick blog SEO" I'll add it to the robots ignore list or remove the last name from the public display since it doesn't hurt anything
