He also just signed a vote-by-mail thing and a bunch of other important election laws! So definitely look into that if you plan on voting. I think you can request it online. Anyone who voted in recent years is already receiving the option so I'm not sure how you'd go about it to register.

We're all in 3 now, I haven't heard much about 4 but I'm sure it's coming up, barring any spike. He made it very clear that he'll roll things back quickly if we need to. What area are you moving to?

Here in the bit more boondocks than you, people have stopped caring. It's awful. When I'm dumb enough to login to facebook I'm ashamed to see the people throwing tantrums about canceled fireworks and stuff. It's embarrassing. People literally organizing "reopen illinois protest parades."

I went over the boarder to Wisconsin yesterday and didn't see a single mask.

Have you seen pics of Lake Geneva beaches and stuff lately? It's ridiculous.

Oh no! I haven't, that's horrifying. My city facebook is filled with racists, so that's the only thing anyone is talking about these days. When covid was the hot topic, there were plenty of conspiracy theorists and keyboard warriors, but in the very very very few times I've gone anywhere (I'm pretty sure only Home Depot, and only a handful of times), it's been fine. The last time I was there was at the lowest numbers point a week or two ago, and only one person was without a mask and the person they were with had their nose hanging out of theirs. But otherwise everyone was properly masked and staying away from everyone else. Anything I've heard from anyone personally or on Facebook is that people are largely doing the right thing, and the ones that aren't get a hefty stink eye and kicked out of whatever establishment.

That's so scary, we're not even that far apart so obviously our communities will mix, especially people going to the lake with this weather.

I feel that I feel like rural areas are giving way less of a crap. When we had socially distant girls picnic last weekend, people were ripping down the tape and signs on the playgrounds and areas that were currently blocked off. Like 70% of the park was open, and that still wasn't enough for anyone to give a damn. Super frustrating. I'm sorry it sucks where you are, too.
