Kerstin Dautenhahn [A1EH3ZV7HMQCS3] Impact of social robots in reducing social-isolation due to COVID-19 - $1.00 $1.50 bonus | PANDA

    $9.38 / hour

    Approved!
    Pros:
$1.50 bonus for completion of the study. Requester paid the bonus shortly after completion of the study, and approved the HIT shortly thereafter.
    Cons:
Requester estimated 40 minutes, so I sped through it. I was surprised when I ended up on the last page with the completion code in ~16 minutes. There was writing involved.

it's all good just giving you a hard time.

I called the fraud hotline on the back of the letter and got a recording to file a fraud claim on their website why not just put the website on the letter

If you give a man with severe ADD a gif to look at to distract from actual words in the post, you get the rating you get & live with it.

Because that would be too helpful, duh! Why would they make it easy to fix a problem? That would be too useful, which we cannot have! Ugh, I'm sorry you have to deal with this, tho. Stupid bullshit sucks.

I have such intensely weird responses to bad situations that when the track dudes called me about matt's latest accident, I burst into hysterical laughter while asking if he was dead or not. My brain thinks that is the best way to respond to stress, apparently:emoji_expressionless:

I'm the person who can't keep a straight face at a funeral or anytime I get bad news, it's so so bad. Luckily, most people seem to realize it's a nervous reaction but I've gotten yelled at a few times while I try to desperately explain that I really don't think it's funny. Also once lost it while in court, thanks brain!:emoji_face_palm::emoji_face_palm:

I tittered at a funeral once but I think most people were. Apparently the only thing the preacher was told about the guy was he loved women....so that's what he talked about about...repeatedly.

My big sister is the same way and I'm genetically programmed to laugh when she laughs, so, yeah, we got into a lot of trouble when we were little. "Why can't you two ever be serious?!" "This is inappropriate!" To which, of course, we'd laugh even more.

My doc told me it's a response to stress where your body is trying to stop you from totally melting down, so I guess my dumbass brain is like, "Well, laughter is better than passing out! Yee haw!" I've also passed out from stress cause I have the blood sugar/pressure of a corpse, so I guess laughter is preferable to waking up on the ground with people staring at my dumbass:emoji_sweat_smile: Thanks for the great options, brain! You're the worst!

I used it because it was the most fitting word for the situation. I didn't laugh or chuckle or giggle. I tittered.
    verb
    1. Give a short, half-suppressed laugh; giggle.
As to where I learned it, :dunno:, I used to read a lot, maybe?
