LOL! He'd lose his shit.

He finally quit stealing water from me out of the many water glasses I keep laying about my house. It took COVID for him to decide he can get HIS OWN DAMN WATER.

I swear independence in children is a bell curve that peaks at 12 and starts going downhill with the teenage years. He's more "Um, Mom, can you...." than he was at 4 years old!

 

My dentist office sent out letters and emails talking about all their protocols. They said they're staggering appointments to make sure they can sanitize in between. My appointment was at 9. They open at 9. There were 5 people in the lobby when I got there.

Then he becomes an adult and moves out and I guarantee you'll be all - "do you need this?" "Do you need that?". "take all this food home wirh you.". "do you need tupperware?"

 

@brobinson2001 I just saw another study but it's here in Austin. Pays $1800 and you have to stay four days in some facility downtown but you have to be a healthy male from 18-55 or a sterile woman.

 

I totally will! I tried to give my 27 year old allthethings when she got an apartment nearby after being in the UK for four years. She took a lot of it and when she moved out after the job was over a bunch came back! Damn!!!

Also...if possible...could serve food outside? I had my mom over for the 4th of July and we just stayed outside and kept our distance.

Outside is vastly less risk than inside.

But if your mom is immunocompromised or at high risk then it's probably not worth it at all.

I'm just thinking that I "hang" with my neighbors outside and chat or whatever and we keep our distance but that allows for human interaction of a social nature which is important, too.
