what browsers do you guys use? I usually use chrome, but I've been thinking of switching to brave. I know that on a lot of sites, I'd have to disable the 'shields' but I already do that on chrome with ublock

Chrome, and keep Firefox handy in case a HIT or survey won't load right and it pays well enough to take the time to switch over.

you know it's funny, I usually use chrome, but have firefox set to my default browser - the reason was so that if a site or something opens a browser, instead of a mini window opening and then disappearing, I'll see that firefox is starting up out of nowhere.

but during my use of mturk, I've also found that sometimes you just gotta use firefox instead. I don't even know why I dislike it, but I've just never been a fan

I've heard really good things about AOL Explorer. But I'm still using Netscape Navigator, just not quite ready to jump the ship yet. :dunno:

    I remember netscape...

but the reason I want to switch is not for novelty -- chrome just really lags sometimes, and the startup takes quite a bit of time. I have an extension that deletes cache and cookies [not whitelisted] when I close the browser, but I also have no problems when I use brave. and the thing about that, is that brave is basically chrome anyway, so yea, it's a noticeable difference

Chrome seems to be acting funny for me lately, like some of my favorite batch HITs wont load. But I downloaded a few other browsers and they dont work on them either. The internet has been acting strange since COVID kicked the door in.

I wasn't here to get into a discussion about mask wearing, but obviously your computer isn't using one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You still send 3.5" floppies via carrier pigeon most days, though.

Firefox doesn't seem to handle multiple tabs very well, which is kinda necessary while working.
