So I might be going out on a limb here and not exactly to your point (and @ChrisTurk could and will probably correct me) but I swear I started seeing this qual pop up after the weird survey comet 25 cent survey that was like all the ACs you could ask for in one neat package. It's popped up a couple times over the last couple months.

Again, just my speculation.

Me too, but I also never did those feedback things at the bottom.

 

One or more of the quals have been showing up on various surveys for a few weeks. I guess what it amounts to is they're charging different fees to give researchers access to different qualities of workers.

 

Same. I think that probably has something to do with it.

 

The lifespan of the majority of workers isn't long enough for it to not be something of a dynamic process. They'll at least have to add new workers. And generally if they don't QC it pretty frequently the quality will drop over time as workers who are long timers become comfortable.

Unless TP is stupid you'll never know "how" - otherwise the exact people they're attempting to avoid will simply adopt practices that facilitate getting themselves in.
