Really all kinds. Majority of the covid ones and some of the NWO, discontinuance of the dollar, shift to bit coin, etc, etc stuff. She just has that personality unfortunately that is prone to believing conspiracy theories. Low intellect, bitter, wants to be smarter than others or seen as special.

 

From my experience people that buy into those conspiracies are the same people who hate progress and think America was better than 1950 and they hold onto those conspiracies as a way of telling themselves that everyone else agrees they are just being taken advantage of. Its a way to feel smarter while also not acknowledging that maybe a majority of people don't share your beliefs either. Lots of older people really struggle with this.

That and they look for ones that just confirm what they already believe because real study for self reflection is hard.

Yeah, that's true for a lot of old people. My mom's 53 so she's not quite old, old yet but that may be it. She's kinda slow and refuses to read a lot of the things she shares on SM and it just gets on my nerves sometimes. Like sharing a "news" article of giants being found (with photoshopped skeletal remains) which proves the Bible is correct! Probably venturing into dangerous territory but that's pretty much what I'm working with.

I’ve been known to watch Dana Coverstone for a giggle lately.

 

What I realized long before covid, is the internet is a great tool full of a ton of knowledge but..the vast majority of people don't use it to learn. They use to to confirm what they already believe to be true even if they have to find the most ridiculous source you can think of to do it. People don't want to learn, or grow, they want their beliefs to be confirmed as right and will do that at any cost.
