I'd just say 'fuck the license' and quit personally. It aint worth it. The permanent damage to the lungs, heart, and all other organs. The chance of brain damage, the aneurysm chance. None of that is worth the terrible teacher pay.

 

Lots of people don't think that way, it's hard to flush your years of teaching, college degree and all that and just not care for most.

my oldest is going into 2nd grade, due to him being high risk (type 1 diabetes) he is staying home and doing it remotely. I also can't send the lil one to his last year of preschool unfortunately due to oldest's risk, on top of the fact it's a church preschool where many just send their kids sick anyways....we used to get a letter every freaking week in winter of a friendly reminder: don't send your kids sick.... yeah how stupid, to send that to everyone, just freaking single out the A-holes that do it, duh!

 

My kids basically demanded to go back to school. Not super sure how to deal with that one you know.

 

I miss them I have 6. They have done drive-bys to say hi every few weeks. But I so miss family dinner every sunday. It is not the same
waving at them from a distance. Bleh. for this crap. However, I am high risk so cannot take the chance.

 

Yeah, you could go on strike in the name of your rights, but also how you gonna pay your rent this month?
