    So, interestingly, I already received a bonus from that $10 Alejandro Martinez Marquina HIT from yesterday. That's the one that will have follow-ups on Friday and Monday and Wednesday and you have to do them all to get the base HIT approved. Seems like an unusual way of doing it to me, but there you go.

    I used to use Arch many moons ago (Well I would always install it, and then say "Huh..that was fun" and go back to windows. I decided like a month and a half ago that I wanted to try out Linux again and something about it just clicked for me and bye bye windows!) but my current laptop has an Intel/Nvidia hybrid graphics thing going which is a major PITA to set up manually, along with UEFI, which is also a major pain and so I tried out Manjaro.

    No major issues as of yet. They base off the Arch packages, but delay releasing them for a bit to iron out bugs and issues. It's not perfect, but you get the benefits of a rolling release distribution without a lot of the update terror and you can still roll up your sleeves and dig into the guts if you want to really tinker.

    Would not recommend this to a Linux newbie, #1 because there's potential for breakage and you need to have some idea of how to fix it if it does decide to break and #2 because it's not Ubuntu based, most places that even recognize Linux exists only really want to deal with you if you use Ubuntu. Which I can't stand.
