That's okay. I still think you're pretty AOK anyway.
Glad things are going reasonably well.
I traded S&P 500 options for years, and did really well with it.
I wish I was still doing it!
Unfortunately, an unscrupulous broker who'd always called or
mailed to ask before making a trade with my 'collateral' blue-chip
account suddenly one day realized that she wasn't actually
'non-discretionary' and made my entire family fortune basically
disappear overnight without asking me first. This is why I probably
have PTSD symptoms years later which cause me to occasionally
say unusual things around here, as well as sometimes wake up
screaming in the morning at home. For the love of Gawd, this
woman pretty much destroyed my entire life in order to get some
sort of 'performance bonus' and help pay for her Mercedes.
(If Bird would like to add the 'Would you like me to kill them?'

I guess I should be grateful that we now live in an era where you don't have to trade through a broker. Except you do have to deal with the institutions who already know how to eat you like a shark eats a fish in completely unregulated markets. Not so much a concern though when a fraction of my net worth is what I'm playing with. Managing the greed has been my main focus through all of it. I think it's actually a really good exercise in patience and discipline if you don't let it turn you into a compulsive gambler. Glad I brought it up though, I'm always surprised how people have so much to say when I bring a topic up.
