This is a chinese spicy cold noodle soup. It's fucking SO SPICY and the noodles are SO chewy. I ate it and it upset my stomach but I loved it. I uh, didn't love it while sitting on the toilet though. 100% worth feeling like I was dying for a bit

I had my loaded potato-chicky soup with some crackers for lunch & it hit the spot. Did buffalo chicken soup last week & bacon cheeseburger soup the week before! Nom nom. Without soup, I'd be back with a picc line for iv nutrition again, hard pass!

I want buffalo things but for some reason cayenne upsets The Husband's™ stomach. Only that pepper too. We can have like ghost peppers and shit just fine. Anything with cayenne? even a pinch in some chips? Pure indigestion land.

I can't be the only one who, on a cold, dreary, misty day like today, thinks that a cup of hot beef broth really hits the spot?

Can he do green chiles then? I usually use those in a couple variations of soup I make, usualy blitz a couple cans of rotel and it's really good! Sometimes my stomach won't abide cayenne, but will do fine with green chiles/chipotle, so I sub out sometimes and it's a nice change!

I do something along these lines: https://www.cookingclassy.com/creamy-chicken-tortilla-soup/ Or https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/279716/potato-and-green-chile-soup/

Generally do a mix of sour cream & cream cheese as I find it makes a thicker soup and holds up better then going heavy cream & I usually dump everything in the crock pot cause it's so easy. I drop off soup when our friends feel lousy since I always have a bunch, it's always a hit!

I don't even have to be sick. It's just filling when I'm not really hungry, but also don't wanna snack, and it's blah outside like today

Every single chili pepper outside of cayenne is fine! We use long hots a lot. Those recipes sound great!
