I honestly didn't start playing until about 3 years ago when the bestie bullied me into it, so I'm not hardcore lore and what not. I just thoroughly enjoy the game. Going back to get old achievements is fun especially when I see how everything is tied into where we are. So for me it's not an obvious difference on the quality of content I guess?

i had started LONG LONG ago when it was a beta (ie before vanilla), stopped a bit, came back end of vanilla before burning crusade launched, played years, stopped right before the expac before this one cause i was just bored with the game for a lot of reasons. mainly the people i played with were just not as fun anymore

I'm definitely a solo player. I'm in the besties guild simply cause I got tired of being invited and her guild has a really cool and punny name. lmao. I don't really care about dungeons or raids simply because I don't like playing with people, so I go back and solo old content dungeons for fun. I can see how a not so fun or stressful group would deter someone from playing.

 

I worked retail at one point for a while. Someone used the ladies restroom and came out was like 'holy shit that should be closed off and cleaned' I'm like, it can't be that bad. Step inside. They took shit and rubbed it across the entire toilet, TP dispenser, sink, mirror, and walls while a nice spray was laid across the floor. I haven't used a public restroom since. I can never trust that 10 minutes ago someone hasn't had poopy paint parties.
