Yes to the surveys (though there is always research going on, so it isn't like it'll be $0/day of academic research), and business work sort of floats along the lines of whether the platform is the backbone of a business. Ben P, VRAPI, C-SATs, etc who rely on MTurk to run their entire business will still post. The random one off batches of some VC funded startup launching their prototype? Less so. But if you're not finding that work now it wont make much of a difference

All of that needs to be counterbalanced by the fact there are also less workers bothering to hop onto an online work platform for pennies during holidays. The forum is not representative of the actual platform population, upwards of half (or higher) of people using MTurk don't use it for important income.

Ofc even that is also counterbalanced by the fact that the smaller population who does also does an unrepresentative amount of the work.

So.. anyway.. yeah the base floor is lowered but if you're a power worker there is still going to be work.

On an unrelated note, has anyone tried this Tazo Passion tea? I'm like seriously addicted to it


I always have to add stuff to water to convince myself to drink more of it, and this stuff is seriously working. I'm going to have to buy in bulk.

Anyone have any other fruit tea or normal tea recommendations?

 

if there is less work overall then there is less good work. Don’t debase yourself but do all the work that is a little lower in hourly than you would normally do

 

I've always just loved water as is. When I drink too much and crave something else (if its not captain time) I add lemon, lime, orange, strawberry or mint or whatever else I have, especially if it's out of the garden.

 

My organs would be a lot happier if I was more like you. It's so strange that I have to trick my body to do something it needs for survival, like I don't have to bargain with myself to breathe

I will say though, I will not be testing too many new requesters...so you all have at it.

 

I do coffee in the morning (2 at most) -not supposed to have any - water the rest of the day. I don't like soda on its own and gatorade is used only when I feel dehydrated.

I grow everything. I don't have a ton of room where I am currently, so I grow things UP.
**cucumber water is really refreshing...they have that all throughout the Jamaican resorts for a reason.

strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, grapes, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, peppers, broc, all lettuces, cabbage, I will put anything in the ground, container, box.
I really do it all. The citrus doesn't work here tho. I considered it, the greenhouse and everything it would need, but I have 5 years left until my kids are out and I can move...cause I don't like it here at all.

Water is good and refreshing, just drink it
