Once every couple of months I go through this list and read everything that's coming out and pick 0-5_ things. It's all about reading what sounds like a good show and giving it a chance!

It's a dark themed shonen with a nice amount of action and a neat plot. Really well loved this season.

Attack on Titan is great but you really really have to start at the first season. Dubbed is fine for it though, it's good a good dubbing.

If you haven't seen it, Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo is fucking amazing all around. Easily one of my all time favorite anime and that means a lot; I've seen a fuck load of anime.

do you read manga too? i see this show started as a manga series. im not sure how many anime shows start that way. i also don’t mean to sound stupid right now. i might be partaking in a beverage

 

I really really really should but I just never find myself with the time to sit down and read them. Manga are just way longer comic books. Think if you took a comic book series of like 18 issues and put it in one book. Then a new version of that book comes out like once a month or less frequent depending. It's the same way that books get turned into movies. Most thing start as manga and get adapted over. Or the other 'version' of manga; manWHa which is korean and is also now being adapted to anime (The Tower of God being the most notable so far).

It's cool, I'm starting to drink for the weekend too!

 

As in most cases, manga is generally better then the anime due to constraints of animation/time/money. Same as in book is better then the movie. Some adaptations are fucking trash but the manga is great. Though some anime is just free balled and doesn't come from manga
