Yeah a little amount of ambient light behind the monitors helps a ton, mostly for mood, but light themes are actually easier to see then dark ones after testing it out for a bit for me. I squint less looking at code both during the day & night by far.

I don't have my monitor brightness on 100 though



YMMV, I prefer it

 

Also a lot of this could also just be that on top of the color swap I unfucked the fonts I was using lol.
