12/15 - Trans-Sentient Thursday!

It looks like if the voice isn't specifically set, the api tries to match up with a language that's set on the client....sooooo, maybe it was a chrome or windows update that prompted it to go with the annoying lady voice. I'm not really sure how it all works.


edit: I think my last update was Tuesday, but the lady voice started today.

 

I have the Pro version as well and yes there was an update on Tuesday ... but the voice didn't go whacko until this afternoon...

 

AH, I updated chrome last night. Could be it.

 

Maybe could have been a change on worker.mturk.com that made it switch...who knows? All I know is that it's time for some...

They made changes to worker today, but that shouldn't have had an effect on any scripts.

It most likely is something windows or chrome related... I just noticed that I'm not on the latest version of chrome... (I've had my computer running without closing chrome for about a week and it says that I have an update ready)...

I could check to see if that changes the voice for science... but I am cooking and watching stuff.
